Lake Coeur d'Alene Pirate Treasure Hunt (with skipper) If you want to do some pirateering and exploit a pirate map to hunt for buried treasure (which may be on land near the water or under water) then come aboard for an adventure of a life time. But I must warn you; if anyone gets out of hand they may have to "walk the plank" (or walk the hull :). Those that have lived to see the treasure say there are deblums (coins), edible sea creatures, tickets to various local swash buckling activities, and delights too cool to give away.
Of course this is all hear say and you will have to find the treasure first which is no easy task. You and your pirate skipper will steer the ship through un-charted waters in search of land marks and under water debris in search of the lost treasure.
Its all fun and adventure so come aboard for a swash buckling time!

| Recommendations needed items to bring during your pirate adventure/sailing lessons |
|
*Hat. *Sun Screen (SPF 15 or higher). *Sunglasses. *Closed Toe Nonskid Shoes such as tennis shoes. Please NO black soles or not. Also shoes with excessive ware can lack traction and it’s a must to have good traction on decks and docks that are sometimes wet. *Rain Gear (you can purchase cheap ones from Target or other local box stores for example). Weather fronts can move in quickly and bring rain right in the middle of summer. At SAIL we sell moderate to high quality sailing gear. Please no waders with permanently attached boots (if you fall in with waders you will sink). *Foul Weather Gear. for our Twin Harbors Adventure only high end rain gear/foul weather gear such as the styles we sell that are specifically designed for coastal cruising/sailing will do. Low end gear will work great for a few hour cruise, etc. but of course will not do for coastal cruising. Related to our coast trips weather fronts can move in quickly, bringing rain and extreme weather right in the middle of summer. At SAIL we sell high end foul weather sailing gear. *Wear loose clothing that allows for free movement that will keep you warm. *On warm days wear light and breathable clothing. *Extra clothing in a bag/duffle bag, such as dry socks, etc. *It’s a good idea to bring some sailing gloves or biking glove to help with holding onto the ropes and preventing possible rope burns. Cold weather gloves for spring, summer, and fall classes/sailing. *Water to drink and snacks/lunch/food to eat. *Bring you medication if appropriate and check to see if the medication will have any pre-cautions such as making you sensitive to the sun. Always consult you doctor before participating in any activity. *Always tell those who know you well when you are leaving, where you are going, and when you will return (its called a float plan). *When participating in our Twin Harbors Adventure a detailed list of items to bring will be supplied. |
