ATTENTION the RC Dinghy sails like a dinghy and can be a bit touchy, for instance if you are not paying attention it will do a donut in an instance most likely when you do not want to. Its is a fabulous boat to sail but again it is a sensitive sailboat and you must stay focused. Also it can pitch pole as well when it is screaming down wind. The SOLING comes in 2 sizes a 1/2 Meter (19.65") OR a 1 Meter (39.40") The Soling 1/2 OR 1 Meter kit/Ready-to-Sail is a radio-controlled version of the famous Soling racing yacht. This is a sanctioned American Model Yachting Association "One Design Class." Neck Lanyard
- wear it to protect your transmitter.
Most sailors will tell
you, "put the lanyard around your neck." The lanyard clips right to the
ring on the center front of your transmitter. It prevents the most
common cause of for transmitter failure - dropping. Also, you can use
both hands to launch and retrieve your boat without putting down the

Wind Vane -
(mounts on mast head).
This custom made masthead vane is
painted with florescent yellow on one side and day glow orange on the
other to read it better from shore. It is very light weight and has a
slick balancing pin in the nose. It is easily installed to the top of
your mast by drilling a small hole in the masthead fitting. The vane
mast slips in and out of the mount tube for easy storage.

TransMitt -
Weather protection for radio, and hands. We
couldn't find a transmitter cover with the features we wanted, so we
designed and produced our own. This waterproof TransMitt, zips open
along the bottom to insert any size transmitter. The antenna exits the
top through a grommet. For wet weather there is a pocket inside the
TransMitt that has a pair of felt grommets that fit tight around the
antenna and then fasten to the top of the cover with VelcroŽ so NO water
will run down your antenna inside. The REAL appeal is the fleece lining that keeps your hands comfortable and warm. View the face of your transmitter through the clear vinyl window, and hook your neck lanyard to the off-center D-hook. The Pumpkin Seed Sailers are a line of ARS ( almost ready to sail) sailboats. These fun models are ideal when used as a tool to acquaint the young with the principals of sailing. Assembly takes just a few minutes with no glue or tools required. Pumpkin Seed models can be sailed in swimming pools and small ponds (with proper adult supervision).  This is the scale model of the popular internationally known Hobie Catamaran, considered to be the sailboat that started the whole beach catamaran crazy. Some say the waves were made for her, as even today she is considered the king of the surf. The first Hobie 14 went into product in 1971 and the Hobie 16 followed in 1976. After over 30 years in production and being inducted into the sailing Hall of Fame the Hobie 16 is still the worlds most popular beach cat. This is an all wood kit that includes a nylon mainsail only as a Hobie 14 set up. For you Hobie 16 fans just add a nylon jib and connect it to the forestay, then you'll have a model that looks just like the worlds most popular multihull the Hobie 16.
